Frédéric Laffont

Frédéric Laffont is a French writer, producer and director. He co-founded the Interscoop news agency and Albert Films production house with Christophe de Ponfilly.

Laffont is the director of several documentaries, the most important of which are “Beyrouth des balles et des ballons”, “Poussières de paix” and “Secrets de cuisines.”

His work has earned him a number of international awards, including the Best Reporter award at La Ciotat Festival for the film “Pas de larme pour Mao,” and the Special Jury award at the Monte-Carlo festival for “La mer arrive encore au Liban.”

Laffont is also the author of three books: Poussières de guerre, Maudits soient les yeux fermés and Israel, Palestine.
