Lebanese actor and director Georges Chalhoub graduated from Lebanese University’s Institute of Fine Arts in 1968.

He left for the United States in 1982, where he studied TV direction and production and participated in several workshops related to photography and filmmaking.

When he returned to Lebanon, he starred in a number of films and TV series, including “Al Meshwar Al Taweel,” “Al Armala Wal Shaytan,” “Al Ta2er Al Maksour,” and other works.

Award-winning Chalhoub also participated in several theatre plays, and directed one of them, “Al Yawm Zaffetha,” which was written by Marwan Najjar.

Chalhoub is married to Lebanese actress Elsy Ferneiny and they are both the parents of actor Yorgo Chalhoub.
