Best known for her performance in the Lebanese films “Ghadi” and “Neswen,” Lara Rain began acting and singing at the age of three, performing alongside her mother in the kids’ show “Ton Amie Liliane.”

Rain was raised in Montreal, Canada, where she developed her skills in singing and piano.

She moved to Beirut as a teenager and started working with MTV Europe as their first VJ in the Middle East.

A very important musical contribution marked her career, meeting Ziad Rahbani after a performance at a Beirut festival. After this meeting, Rain performed with Rahbani in several concerts for three consecutive years.

Lara also starred in Marcel Ghosn’s play “Psy.”
