Lara Saba


Best known for her hit movie “Blind Intersections,” Lara Saba graduated from the IESAV department at Saint Joseph University in 1994 and worked as an assistant director with several renowned directors, including Merzak Allouache and Jean-Claude Qudsi.

Saba began carving her name as a director with her first film “Al Oubour” in 1997. After that, she directed a number of TV ads and commercial films, and went on to direct documentaries and TV reports such as “Beirut, Truth and Versions,” and “Shattered Memories.”

Saba became known locally and internationally with her feature film “Blind Intersections,” which earned her a number of awards and critical acclaim.
