Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Zedan graduated from the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University but chose not to practice law.
In 2010 he worked as an assistant cameraman on a TV show, and was later promoted to cameraman.
In 2013 Zedan joined the video art workshop of MASS Alexandria for contemporary art.
In 2014 he started curating the weekly film screenings at the Jesuits Cultural Centre in Alexandria.
Zedan is one of six filmmakers who worked on the independent collaborative feature “The Mice Room.”
He is currently working on his first feature documentary, "I Have a Picture.”
